How to use your heart route
First create the route. Then load it into a navigation app and record your outing.
1. Choose an address
Open the generator, enter your starting address and select 3, 5, 7 or 10 km. Add a dedication if you want one. The actual distance will depend on the streets available.
2. Check the preview
Look at the shape and the streets it follows. You can change the address or distance and try again, subject to generation limits. Previewing is free. The custom GPX costs €14 once.
3. Receive the files
After payment, ready hearts are delivered immediately. A route that needs a manual check arrives within 24 hours. The checkout tells you which applies to your route.
4. Load the GPX
A GPX is a file containing the route coordinates. Import it into Garmin Connect or a navigation app that accepts GPX. Apple Watch needs an app such as WorkOutDoors. Support and directions depend on your device and app; check before purchasing.
5. Record the outing
Follow the route and record your run or walk. Upload that recorded activity to Strava if you want to share the heart. Importing a planned route alone does not record an activity.
